STARTING A CO-OP SEMINAR

Homeschooling is alive and well in North Central WV! THESIS Co-Op has been blessed to play a role in supporting the growing local homeschool community for so many years.   We have endeavored to grow to accommodate as many families as possible, but we realize we have reached our full capacity. Therefore, for the first time we must close our doors to new enrollment:

THESIS will be unable to accept new enrollments in the 2018-19 school year; registration will only be open to returning families.

This co-op has been such a blessing of educational enrichment and encouragement for so many of us, and we would love to see the birth of other co-ops to provide the additional support needed for the homeschooling community.  So we are coming together to host an informal Q&A forum will include the current THESIS Administration as well as some of the original founding members of THESIS.  What did it look like in the earliest days?  How did it begin?  How might THESIS provide cooperative support to a brand-new group? These are some of the types of topics we would like to discuss. 

 If you know new homeschooling families who had been hoping to join THESIS next year, please let them know about this opportunity.  We also believe that there may be some of you, our current members, who may be interested in this possibility.  Perhaps you have imagined what a co-op might look like based in your own church or somewhere closer to home.  Or maybe you’ve enjoyed being a part of THESIS, but have imagined ways a co-op could be formatted differently.  If anything stirs in you as you consider this, please join us on June 11^th.  We would love to answer your questions and offer you any resources, encouragement, and wisdom we have as you consider the possibility of opening new doors of support to the local homeschool community.
