Statement of Faith
As a Christian homeschool cooperative, THESIS believes:
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
God created humans, male and female, in His own image. God instituted marriage, which is the life-long union of one man and one woman. By his wisdom and authority, God gave humans commands for living in right relationship to himself and one another. All people are guilty of having sinned, which is rebellion against these commands and against the Lordship of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:24; Romans 3:23-25)
The only means of being cleansed from sin and restored to a right relationship with God is through faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule. (John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 3:5-7; John 1:1; Matthew 1:23; I Peter 2:22; Acts 2:22; I Corinthians 15:3,4; Hebrews 1:3; Matthew 24:27,30)
THESIS offers its ministry to all homeschooling families, Christian or non-Christian, who agree to uphold and protect these core beliefs in the context of THESIS. We ask you to respect these beliefs and to not promote or display contrary ideologies or lifestyles in the context of THESIS classes, events, and activities.
