 Does THESIS accept the HOPE Scholarship? 

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept the HOPE Scholarship.

Does THESIS have a social media page?

Yes, we have a Facebook page, but you must be approved to join. Contact Kristin Boone for more information: Can I join THESIS mid-year?

We currently only register new families during August, prior to the start of each new school year. 

If I am considering homeschooling, where should I start?

Check out the HSLDA website for great homeschool information, and for homeschooling in WV--CHEWV website is an excellent resource! Both websites are linked on our home page!

Do you still have a field trip and event family membership? 

No, currently we only offer field trips and events to our full members.

What do you do about bad roads and snowy conditions on THESIS class days?

We follow the Marion County School for all delays and closings. If the Marion County schools are closed, we will not meet. If they are on a two-hour-delay, we will meet because we start late (12pm) anyway! Click here to subscribe to recieve Marion County School Closings notifications.

Once I put my family on the wait list-does it carry over year after year?

No, if you are on our wait-list and you did not get in for the upcoming year, you will need to fill out the wait-list form after August 1 of the year you missed getting in, to be considered for the following year. This helps us keep track of only those with interest, rather than tracking down people from years past who are no longer interested in THESIS. 

Do you have a Lost & Found for items left behind on class days or event days?

Yes, we have a Lost & Found that rarely gets visited, and most items never get picked up. Stop by any week during class hours to recover lost items! If you need to stop by and check the Lost & Found during other times--make sure the Church office is open (check website for normal business hours) and go to the Resource Room upper cabinets to find Lost & Found crate.

If I am scheduled to teach and my kids or I wake up sick on Monday morning--what should I do? 

Please refer to your Orientation Packet with detailed, specific instructions for calling off and finding a replacement. If you are still unable to find a replacement, contact Leighanne Webb immediately. webbhollow@frontier.com

Can you test with THESIS if you aren't a member?

Technically, our testing center is connected with CHEWV, not THESIS. So if you are a CHEWV member in North Central WV, you are more than welcome to sign up and test with us!
