HISTORY ALIVE!

THESIS had it's first HISTORY ALIVE FAIR on Friday night. This event was well attended and filled with fun, learning and excitement! Lewis, Clark, and Sacajawea were in attendance. Laura Ingalls Wilder, Helen Keller, Amelia Earhart, Annie Oakley, Marquis De Lafayette, George Washington, Anna Atkins and so many more famous men and women of the past came to share their stories. We also learned about the Titanic, Trail of Tears, the Mayflower, days of the Wild West, NASA, The Linux Kernel, Greek Mythology and Pioneer times, just to name a few.

One mother shared how much fun her children had preparing for the fair: It's changed the way I'm going to teach history! It's so much more fun for them to learn with this hands on approach!"

Thanks everyone for putting out a great effort on your projects, and to Miranda, our organizer!!
Truly, we are better together!!
